Porsche Lowers Prices As A Result of the Strong Looney

Well,

Life is good if you’re a Canadian looking to purchase, rather than sell, right now.  The looney is on a tear and it’s currently sitting pretty at almost exactly par: On 12 Apr 2010, 1.00 U.S. dollar(s) = 1.00 Canadian dollar(s), at an exchange rate of 1.0015 (using nominal rate.)

If you’re an exporter of goods, life probably sucks pretty badly.  I send you my condolences, but that’s all I can do for ya’.

With that said,

PORSCHE HAS LOWERED THE PRICES OF THEIR VEHICLES!

Boxster now costs $55,600;

Cayenne down to $54,200 from $60,100

Canadian Porsches, generally equipped with more standard features, are still quite a bit more than their American counterparts.  However, at these *new* prices, often 2% lower; You may not save quite as much money as you used to when you imported a Porsche across the border.
